Skala - Kefalonia
Skala
is a quiet and beautiful seaside village 30km from Argostoli,
combining verdant lush vegetation with breathtaking scenery. The
3km long golden sand beach situated just next to a fine forest,
with a choice of water sports to choose from.
Also, there are
archaeological sites including the mosaics from a Roman villa of
the 3rd century A.D., or on the outskirts of the village the
temple of Apollo dating from the 7th century B.C. and in the cave
of Sakkos the remains of Stone Age tools. There are many
restaurants and bars to satisfy every taste.
