EXCURSIONS IN ZAKYNTHOS

DISCOVER ZANTE  This tour is a wonderful experience for the clients, as they discover the island of Zante, by driving through the mountains and its villages. Lunch in the beautiful harbour of St. Nicholas, boat ride to the mysterious blue caves. Viewing the exquisite local ceramic handmade by the potter’s wheel. KEFALONIA  Considered the jewel of the Ionian with its high mountain peaks cluttered with its famous black fir tree, and wild horses from the days of Odysseus. The magnificent Drogorati and Melissani caves with its unusual stalactites. Lunching in its quaint town as Aghia Efimia.  Viewing the most famous beach at Myrtos Bay, old abandoned villages on the hilltops, beautiful views of the wine valleys. Having coffee and ice cream in the capital, Argostoli.

OLYMPIA   The most famous site in Greece where the Olympic games started. Viewing one of the Seven Wonders of the World, where the gold and elephantine statue of Zeus stood, flame and the original Olympic stadium. Browsing in the museum with its magnificent marble plaques of Hercules, the head of the Goddess Hera and the perfect statue of Hermes! An interesting drive though the garden of Greece, the Peloponnese.

VOYAGE OF DISCOVERY  Cruising around the complete area of Zakynthos, viewing its volcanic cliffs and caves. Swimming at ”Smugglers Cove “ and its shipwreck. Relaxing on the cruise boat while it cruises through the ”Clashing Rock“ of Jason and the Argonauts and all the seaside resorts. Stopping by the ”Blue Caves“ to its beautifully colored waters.

BEACH BOAT BBQ/TURTLE TREK  An exciting boat trip to spot the Carreta-Carreta turtles that the island is so famous for. Relax on the beach for a typical Greek BBQ! SCUBA DIVING  An experience not to be missed by diver enthusiastic! Tuition for non-divers by competent British divers. Diving in the turquoise waters of Zante! Souvenir underwater photographs to prove you did it!

SHOPPING  Enjoy a wine tasting at the Callinico Winery, browse in its old wine cellar and add to your collection! Visit Zante town with its old Venetian style buildings. An abundance of souvenir shops for last minute shopping for family and friends!

ATHENS TWO DAY TOUR  Visit a city that goes back in time! Stroll around the Parthenon with its unbelievable columns. See Mars hill where St. Paul preached to the Athenians. Photograph the beautiful buildings of the Academy, Library and the Old University. See the Evzones, the royal guards doing their unusual steps for the changing of the guard! Walk across the ancient Corinth canal built by Emperor Nero!
